Directions for Heat and Air Conditioning:
Please do not turn on the baseboard heat.
1) The cover on the remotes slides down to reveal more buttons
2) The remotes have to be pointing at the unit to work and you need to hear a beep. The remote in the bedroom controls that one and the remote in the main room controls that one.
3) Once the cover is off, there is a mode button. The second one from the top looks like a snowflake. That is Air Condition. If you hit mode once it will go to the third icon that looks like a little flame - that is "dry" air and is not the heat.
4) Hit it once more (the 4th icon) to the icon that looks like a sun. That is heat.
5) If you need to go back to air condition and hit mode once more, it goes to a icon that looks like a square with arrows. That is not it, hit mode one more time to you get to the snowflake.
Do not touch fan on the remote - they are all on automatic and should work fine.
To sum up, snow flake is air conditioner, sun is heat. Make sure you point at units and hear a beep.
